Who says you can’t have “Baking School Class #101” over 7,000 miles away from each other! Mary Linette had the privilege of holding a baking class for this beautiful group of ladies from “Women of Hope” in Uganda, Africa. They are single mothers who have been delivered from an unhealthy previous lifestyle.

FOLA helped them start a business in late 2017, so they can raise their children. It was so much fun teaching these ladies, as they were very eager to learn.

The “taste tester” cooks sampled their banana bread and sold the rest! They told Mary they had some very happy customers, so the bread was definitely a success!!! Nothing like expanding their horizon! Now they have even ventured out into making decorated cakes to sell.
